Melissa founded sparemytime with a clear intent: to build a business that takes execution seriously – commercially, operationally and culturally.

She recognised that ambitious businesses don’t fail through lack of effort, but through lack of structure. At the same time, she saw too many experienced professionals stepping away from meaningful careers, not because ambition had faded, but because rigid models made it harder to stay.

Personal circumstances should never limit professional ambition.

Today, Melissa leads the business with a focus on clarity, standards and continuity, creating an environment where important work is done properly, and where experienced people, particularly women, can remain in serious, long‑term roles as their lives evolve.

CEO & Founder / Consultant

Melissa is a multi award‑winning founder and business strategist with a background in investment banking. Her deep strategic judgement has been shaped by many years growing founder‑led businesses, with particular strength across bookkeeping and operations strategy, leadership, sales and marketing. She brings a long‑standing fascination with AI and automation, is an alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme (including selection for Goldman Sachs’ inaugural Serve to Lead leadership programme at Sandhurst), and regularly shares her thinking through publications and podcast appearances.

Chief Operating Officer / Consultant

Leigh‑Anne has worked in close partnership with Melissa since 2018 and has been instrumental in building and shaping SpareMyTime. Operating at the frontline of growth, she translates strategic intent into robust operational reality as businesses evolve. As COO, Leigh‑Anne provides senior oversight across operations, bookkeeping and HR, with a particular strength in designing scalable workflows, systems and financial processes that support sustainable growth. She is known for her ability to quickly understand complex environments, adopt new technologies and create operating foundations that enable teams to perform with clarity and confidence.

Head of Marketing / Consultant

Victoria leads all work relating to brand identity, messaging and digital marketing strategy. She brings many years of senior‑level experience, including leadership roles at Capita, alongside founding and running her own creative business for a number of years. This combination gives her both corporate rigour and hands‑on commercial understanding of what it takes to build and grow a brand. Vic specialises in translating brand positioning into clear, compelling and consistent creative and digital execution. She is supported by a senior delivery team, ensuring work is both strategically sound and commercially effective.

Head of Admin & Ops / Consultant

Eithne brings many years of experience from a career in investment banking, having held senior roles in investor relations across in the UK and US markets.  As Head of Admin & Operations, Eithne acts as the senior point of contact for admin and operational performance, working closely with clients for strategic oversight of day‑to‑day admin, whilst  specialising in operational design, workflow improvement and CRM architecture. Her focus is on building robust administrative and operational foundations and strengthening systems so they continue to support the business as it grows – without unnecessary complexity or operational drag.

With 9 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, Rosie brings a blend of marketing expertise and operational know-how. A former Account Manager at a global agency, she’s calm, organised, and skilled at creating space for clients to thrive. Rosie joined SMT in 2021.

Sam joins SpareMyTime with a diverse background in office management and project support spanning over a decade. From coordinating high-profile events to managing day-to-day operations to and IT support, Sam brings initiative, and a commitment to excellence to every support role. Sam joined SpareMyTime in 2024.

With 18 years in investment banking, Lisa knows numbers inside out. A qualified AAT professional, she understands the financial challenges small businesses and freelancers face, and helps make managing finances easier. Based in Essex, Lisa joined SpareMyTime in 2020.

Shelley gained her experience as a bookkeeper at a Chartered Accountants where she managed a diverse portfolio of clients. With proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Xero Certified, Shelley ensures smooth financial operations. Shelley joined SpareMyTime in 2023.

Bookkeeping

Yasmin brings experience in accounting and trading from EUROMIS S.A., part of the VITOL S.A. group. Skilled in financial documentation and logistics, she’s also a Spanish tutor and currently refreshing her AAT qualification. Based in London, Yasmin joined SpareMyTime in 2022.
