Sometimes productivity can be hard to find, especially if you are experiencing burnout – and right now, it seems like a lot of people are feeling the burnout. COVID-19 has added an extra element of stress to everyone’s lives, and the ‘new normal’ can feel stressful at the best of times.
Luckily there is lots of productivity inspiration out there; you just need to know where to look. There are productivity apps and blogs to boost your motivation (such as ours!), but that isn’t all; productivity podcasts are also a useful asset.
This is because they are entertaining, useful and – most importantly – easy to consume. You can listen to them while you work out, or as you drive to work; whatever fits in with your lifestyle! But which podcasts are the most useful?
Here are four awesome productivity podcasts.
1. Awesome Productivity Podcasts: The Positive Productivity Podcast
The Positive Productivity Podcast is hosted by Kim Sutton, and it is all about life and business. There is one episode every month, so it is easy to keep up with, and the content is mostly about achieving success in both your professional and personal life. We really like the mix of content Kim’s upbeat attitude; you should definitely feel motivated after having a listen!
2. The 5AM Miracle Podcast
Do you want to become an early bird who seizes the day, every day? If so, we suggest checking out The 5AM Miracle Podcast, hosted by Jeff Sanders. Jeff is a positive, friendly guy who believes that a productive morning will set you up for the rest of the day. He helps listeners to set up long-lasting, effective habits that transform their working day, helping them to be the most productive version of themselves.
The podcast also ranks as number one in the Business and Self-Help sections on iTunes, so it is clearly very popular! One particularly great episode is The Power of Anchor Habits, as there are lots of actionable tips you can easily apply to your daily life.
3. The Productive Woman Podcast
More people than ever before are juggling a full time career while raising children – and The Productive Woman Podcastunderstands this. Hosted by Sarah McClellan, each episode looks at creating a proper work-life balance while also improving your prospects. We think that this podcast gives working parents the tools and motivation to excel in all areas of their life – without compromising their mental state.
And if you’re a man, don’t worry; the podcast may be called the Productive Woman podcast, but it is definitely useful to any working parent.
4. Beyond The To Do List
Beyond The To Do List is a podcast hosted by Erik Fisher, and it is all about setting appropriate, realistic goals that will benefit you and you career. There are often guests on the podcasts who talk about their own personal experiences, which is very useful, as well as useful tips about goal setting. One of our favourite podcasts from Erik is Procrastinate on Purpose, as this discusses the emotional aspects that affect productivity.
