Gift Ideas For Employees

Gift Ideas For Employees

If you manage a team, you might be thinking about getting each employee a gift to show your gratitude – but buying gifts for employees can be difficult. How much should you spend? Should everyone get the same gift? How professional should the gift be?

Of course you don’t have to buy gifts for your employees, but if you have a great team you may want to reward their efforts. And if that is the case, we are here to help! Here are five affordable, appropriate gift ideas for employees.

1. Gift Ideas For Employees: Coffee Tumbler

Do you have a team of coffee drinkers? If so, you could consider getting everyone a coffee tumbler. Any coffee lover will appreciate a portable tumbler that will keep their drink warm for hours (or their iced coffee cold!), especially during a long day at work.

If you do decide to get coffee tumblers for your team, we suggest getting ones that are made with two layers of insulation. This means that the drink will stay at the same temperature for hours, no matter how hot or cold the room is.

2. Mobile Phone Stand

You could also get your employees a mobile phone stand each. This gift can make work easier, especially if your employees use their smartphones for work, but even if they don’t this will still be a valuable gift. After all, the average Brit checks their phone 10,000 times a year, and a mobile phone stand will make scrolling much easier!

One good option for this is the Lamicall stand, as it is compatible with both Androids and iPhones. The device also has cushioned hooks so it won’t scratch the phone when it is being used. You can also order the stand in a wide range of colours, so each employee can get their favourite colour!

3. Succulents

You could also buy each employee a succulent (or a small succulent garden). Plants reduce stress levels and boost our moods, so they are great for offices, and succulents are also very easy to take care of. They don’t need much water or attention; just give them a little water every few weeks or so, and they should thrive!

4. Aromatherapy Oil Diffuser

Various studies have found that aromatherapy helps to boost energy, relieve stress and reduce anxiety, making it a perfect gift for the midst of a pandemic. You could buy each of your employees an aromatherapy oil diffuser for their desk (or their home), and then it will fill the room with a beautiful, relaxing scent every day. Most diffusers are completely silent, so there is no noise to interrupt the peace, and some diffusers even emit a relaxing, coloured light to make them even more effective (this light can be turned off if employees find it annoying).

5. A Bottle Of Wine

Finally you could keep things simple with a bottle of wine. A bottle of wine is a classic Christmas gift, and it normally goes down very well… although we do suggest checking that your employees aren’t teetotal before buying them a bottle of wine. If they are teetotal, we don’t suggest choosing a non-alcoholic wine, as they might not actually like the taste of wine – instead gift them a more appropriate gift from this list!
